Ever since I graduated from high school I’ve been involved with construction. In the early years the majority of my work was on the residential side, from new homes to complete renovations. I later joined the Carpenter’s Union and worked as a Project Superintendent. The majority of those projects were commercial and industrial. As a Superintendent, I was responsible for overseeing the project from start to finish. At each job, I was responsible for insuring that all the building trades were performed to the highest standards and with the highest quality, from concrete, electrical and plumbing to all phases of construction.
In 1998, I saw the opportunity to branch out on my own and opened my construction business. T.D. Mielke Construction is known for providing quality workmanship and working with subcontractors who have the same high standards of workmanship. As a General Contractor, I’ve built and renovated commercial buildings, such as churches, colleges, schools, banks, sports and recreation facilities, parks, redevelopment projects, and human services. That same quality of workmanship is carried out on the residential side, from new homes to additions and remodeling.
I’m proud to be a business owner in New Castle, and that pride is displayed in the high standards, quality craftsmanship and attention to detail that I provide in every project I work on. I believe that satisfaction comes from being attentive to the needs of the customer and having the ability to communicate. It’s crucial to keep communication lines open throughout the entire construction process, and I work hard to make sure that happens. I’m looking forward to hearing from you with any construction needs and thank you for taking the time to read a little bit about us.
